Rungstedlund har en rig historie, der forbinder to af Danmarks mest kendte forfattere: Johannes Ewald og Karen Blixen.
Johannes Ewald boede på Rungsted Kro (nu Rungstedlund) fra 1773 til 1775. Han er kendt som en af Danmarks første moderne digtere og skrev blandt andet nationalsangen “Kong Christian stod ved højen mast”. Ewalds tid på Rungsted Kro var præget af sygdom og økonomiske problemer, men det var også her, han skrev nogle af sine mest kendte værker, som "Fiskerne" og "Rungsteds lyksagligheder".
Karen Blixen, født i 1885, arvede Rungstedlund fra sin far, Wilhelm Dinesen, i begyndelsen af 1900-tallet. Hun boede her i sin barndom og vendte tilbage efter sin tid i Afrika. Rungstedlund blev hendes hjem indtil hendes død i 1962. Blixen er kendt for sine værker som “Den afrikanske farm” og “Syv fantastiske fortællinger”. I dag er Rungstedlund et museum dedikeret til hendes liv og arbejde.
Rungstedlund er også kendt for sin smukke park, hvor Karen Blixen er begravet under et stort træ ved foden af Ewalds Høj, opkaldt efter Johannes Ewald. Det er her du har en opgave for at kunne logge denne cache.

Rungstedlund has a rich history that connects two of Denmark's most famous authors: Johannes Ewald and Karen Blixen.
Johannes Ewald lived at Rungsted Kro (Inn) (now Rungstedlund) from 1773 to 1775. He is known as one of Denmark's first modern poets and wrote, among other things, the national anthem "Kong Christian stod ved højen mast". Ewald's time at Rungsted Kro was marked by illness and financial problems, but it was also here that he wrote some of his best-known works, such as "The Fishermen" and "Rungsted's Happiness".
Karen Blixen, born in 1885, inherited Rungstedlund, in the early 1900s, from her father, Wilhelm Dinesen. She lived here during her childhood and returned after her time in Africa. Rungstedlund became her home until her death in 1962. Blixen is known for her works such as "Out of Africa" and "Seven fantastic tales". Today, Rungstedlund is a museum dedicated to her life and work.
Rungstedlund is also known for its beautiful park, where Karen Blixen is buried under a large tree at the foot of Ewalds Høj, named after Johannes Ewald. This is where you have a task to be able to log this cache.
