Castle in the Clouds is located in Moultonboro, NH. There you will find Thomas Plant’s “castle”. There are many activities, programs, and event that take place year round on this beautiful property. For more information visit https://www.castleintheclouds.org/hours-admission/
The location of this virtual cache is at the old gatehouse located at the main entrance where the auto road begins. During the summer months you can drive up to see the “castle” but there is an admission fee. During the off season, you can park near the gate and walk in to explore many other natural features in this beautiful area.
To get credit for this virtual cache, you will need to send me the answers to the following questions:
- Looking at the front of the building from the road, how many vertical stones are placed above the bottom set of windows?
- Walking through the small gate to the side of the building, you will find a sign with an organization name on it. What is the last word on the sign in the bottom right hand corner?
- (Optional). Take a picture of this unique building but be sure that it does not show any of the required answers.
