Der Kronenbrunnen von Bern
Der Kronenbrunnen, auch bekannt als Oberer Postgassbrunnen oder Lischetti-Brunnen, ist ein historischer Brunnen in der Altstadt von Bern.
Er steht seit 1820-1825 als nichtfigürlichen, in seiner heutigen Form in der Postgasse und ist nach dem “Gasthof zur Krone” benannt.
Der Brunnen wurde mehrmals erneuert und die letzte Ausführung ist die einzige im Stil des Hochklassizismus in der Berner Altstadt.
1992 fügte der Berner Künstler Carlo E. Lischetti eine eiserne Treppe mit Podest und Geländer hinzu, was dem Brunnen den Spitznamen “Lischetti-Brunnen” einbrachte.

Der Brunnen wird vom Trinkwassernetz von Energie Wasser Bern versorgt und die Wasserqualität wird regelmäßig überprüft.

The Kronenbrunnen of Bern
The Kronenbrunnen, also known as the Oberer Postgassbrunnen or Lischetti-Brunnen, is a historic fountain in the old town of Bern.
It has stood in its current form in Postgasse since 1820-1825 as a non-natural fountain and is named after the “Gasthof zur Krone”.
The fountain has been renovated several times and the latest version is the only one in the style of high classicism in Bern's old town.
In 1992, Bernese artist Carlo E. Lischetti added an iron staircase with a platform and railing, earning the fountain the nickname “Lischetti Fountain”.

The fountain is supplied by the Energie Wasser Bern drinking water network and the water quality is checked regularly.
