Welcome to the Virtual Reward 4.0 - Palm Beach County Beaches

Did you know that there are 26 Palm Beach County Municipal and County GUARDED (meaning there are lifeguards on watch) Beaches?
From the beaches pictured in the map above, the numbers on the map do NOT match the Virtual Stage Waypoint numbers.
The good news is that this geocache does not require you to answer any questions! But don't let that fool you. We chose this Difficulty 4 and Terrain 2.5 rating for a couple of reasons. One is because this geocache will not be a quick park and grab. You will be doing a fair amount of walking and yes, you will be driving through most of Palm Beach County. The second reason is that, at the time of publishing, there are no other D4 T2.5 Virtual Geocaches in the United States.
If you are vacationing here, this will be a great way to explore the many different types of beaches offered by this great state of Florida. Our hope is that you will be taken to places that you have perhaps never explored before. Or, maybe it will just bring you down memory lane. Either way, we hope that you will feel like you have been to the BEACH after discovering these locations.
We have selected 20 beaches from the 26 beaches pictured above. They are the virtual stage waypoints. They are numbered from North to South. You will need to choose 8 of them including Virtual Stage #15 (Lantana Municipal Beach) which is required. This can be done over several hours or several days. It does not have to be done all in one day. It does not have to be done in any particular order.
At each location that you visit, you will find the object in the Beach Photos below is featured. Go to that exact location which correlates with the Virtual Stage Waypoints. With that location's Beach Photo in the background, take a picture of yourself (your face is not required) in that location which includes the features of the corresponding picture below as proof that you were physically at the location.
Here are the beach photos and a fun fact about each location:
