Herzlich willkommen im Donnersberg!
Dieser virtuelle Cache wird euch auf eine Wanderung mitnehmen.
Stellt euch auf etwa 11km und 390 Höhenmeter ein.
Ein Parkplatz ist angegeben. Ihr könnt jederzeit auch von anderen starten, z.B.in Falkenstein.
Natürlich kann die Wegführung geändert werden, nur solltet ihr die Wegpunkte mit den Aufgaben beachten und dort auch vorbei kommen.
So können z.B. die Gruben Katarina I und II mit einem kleinen Abstecher besucht werden.
Bitte lauft die Runde nicht in der Dämmerung oder nachts!
Euch erwartet eine abwechslungsreiche Runde, die von normal befahrbahren Waldwegen über wunderbare schmale Wege bis zu kurzen Passagen führt, auf denen Trittsicherheit von Vorteil ist.
Unterwegs kommt ihr an der Kronbuchenhütte und der Kupferberghütte vorbei. Beide bewirtschaftet - ob geöffnet ist, könnt ihr mit einem Klick auf die Hüttennamen herausfinden (für die Kupferberghütte noch dem Verweis auf den Dienstaplan folgen).
Sehr bald nach dem Start vom Imsbacher Parkplatz kommt ihr an der Bergerlebniswelt Imsbach vorbei.
Ein Blick hier lohnt sich, auf der Homepage findet man weiter Infos wie die Öffnungszeiten.
Was muss ich tun, damit ich den virtuellen Cache loggen darf?
An verschiedenen Stationen gibt es Infos, die gesammelt werden müssen. Die Aufgaben stehen bei den Wegpunkten dabei.
Zudem kommt - richtig, ein Bild!
WP1: hier findet ihr rechts vom Stolleneingang ein weisses Schild mit schwarzer Schrift.
Notiert euch das Wort.
WP2: notiert euch die chemische Formes des Roteisensteins
WP3: zählt die Spitzen des Sterns unterhalb des eisernen Mannes, der auf der silbernen Platte graviert ist. Achtung! Zusätzlich braucht ihr ein Bild von euch, eurem GPS oder einem Gegenstand, der zu euch gehört, zusammen mit dem eisernen Mann.
WP4: notiert euch die Höhe der Kronbuchhütte ü.M.
WP5: seit wann ist der Turm im Besitz der Ortsgemeinde?
WP6: wann wurde der Betrieb eingestellt? Notiert euch die Jahreszahl im ersten Textabschnitt
WP7: wann wurde die Erzlaugerei fertiggestellt?
WP8: wieviel Meter über NHN liegt die Kupferberghütte?
Aus den gesammelten Werten dürft ihr eine Emailadresse nach folgendem Muster bauen:
WP1-WP2-Summe aller Zahlen WP3 bis WP8@web.de
Z.B: Kupfererz-SiO2-1908@web.de
Sobald ihr eine Antwort erhaltet, dürft ihr loggen.

Welcome to the Donnersberg!
This virtual cache will take you on a hike.
Be prepared for about 11km and 390 metres in altitude.
A car park is indicated, but you can also start from other places at any time, e.g. in Falkenstein.
Of course, the route can be changed, but you should pay attention to the waypoints with the tasks and pass them.
For example, the Katarina I and II mines can be visited with a short detour.
Please do not walk at dusk or at night!
A varied route awaits you, ranging from normally passable forest tracks to wonderful narrow paths and short passages where surefootedness is an advantage.
On the way, you will pass the Kronbuchenhütte and the Kupferberghütte. Both are serviced - you can find out whether they are open by clicking on the hut names (for the Kupferberghütte, follow the link to the "Dienstplan").
Shortly after the start from the Imsbach car park, you will pass the Imsbach Mountain Adventure World.

What do I have to do to be allowed to log the virtual cache?
There is information to be collected at various stations. The tasks are listed next to the waypoints.
There is also - yes, a picture!
Please read the description at the waypoints, it will make it easier.
WP1: here you will find a white sign with black lettering to the right of the tunnel entrance.
Make a note of the word.
WP2: make a note of the chemical form of the red iron stone
WP3: count the corners of the star below the iron man engraved on the silver plate. Attention! You will also need a picture of yourself, your GPS or an object that belongs to you, together with the iron man.
WP4: note the altitude of the Kronbuchhütte above sea level.
WP5: How long has the tower been owned by the local community?
WP6: When was it closed down ? Make a note of the year
WP7: When was the ore leaching plant completed?
WP8: How many metres above sea level is the Kupferberg shelter?
From the values you have collected, you can build an email address according to the following pattern:
