When most people think about the beautiful park, red rocks and arches are usually the first things that comes to mind. In addition to the beautiful views in the day, this park also has amazing views at night. Being away from the city lights, the night sky can be enjoyed here. This location also provides a great spot to enjoy the sunset.
At the coordinates, you will find an interactive planisphere sign. A planisphere is an analog computing instrument which contains two disks that rotate to produce a star chart. It can be adjusted to display the stars and planets that are visible for any time and date. Additionally, the location has many benches in which you can lie down on to enjoy the night sky.
To log this cache, you will need to post a photo of yourself or an identifiable personal item (such as a trackable or GPS) at the sign or the benches (with all/most of them in the photo) at this location.
