Schwarzwaldklinik: Ground Zero Virtual Cache

🇩🇪 In den 1980ern entfaltet sich die Schwarzwälder Provinzklinik als Epizentrum medizinischer und emotionaler Dramen. Der junge Dr. Udo Brinkmann jongliert nicht nur mit dem Skalpell, sondern auch mit den Herzen seiner Patientinnen und Kolleginnen. Parallel dazu wandelt sich Christa Mehnert von der Krankenschwester seines Herzens zur ärztlichen Kollegin und zur Frau seines Chefs und Vaters, Prof. Dr. Klaus Brinkmann. Ein Netz aus leidenschaftlichen Affären, das dichter ist als der Schwarzwald selbst. Zwischen chirurgischen Eingriffen bleibt ausreichend Zeit für emotionale Operationen im Beziehungs-OP.

Dieser VC und die dazugehörige Cache-Serie (Übersicht am Ende des Listings) nimmt Euch mit auf eine Zeitreise in den ungestümen Liebeskosmos der Schwarzwaldklinik, wo Herzflimmern nur selten rein medizinische Ursachen hat.

Wer mit der Arzt-Schmozette nichts anfangen kann, darf auch einfach die schönen Landschaften der damaligen Drehorte genießen, ohne Familie Brinkmann und Co im Hinterkopf. Den Machern der Serie war damals wichtig, den Schwarzwald landschaftlich von seiner schönsten Seite zu zeigen.

🇬🇧 In the 1980s, the provincial clinic in the Black Forest becomes the epicentre of medical and emotional dramas. The young Dr Udo Brinkmann does not only juggle with a scalpel, but also with the hearts of his female patients and colleagues. At the same time, Christa Mehnert transforms from the nurse of his heart into a medical colleague and the wife of his boss and father, Prof Klaus Brinkmann, MD. A web of passionate affairs that is denser than the Black Forest itself. Between surgical interventions, there is plenty of time for emotional operations in the relationship operating theatre.

This VC and the accompanying cache series (you‘ll find an overview below) will take you on a journey through time into the impetuous cosmos of love at the Black Forest Clinic, where fibrillation of the heart rarely has purely medical origins.

If you can't get on with the medical slush, you can simply enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the film locations at the time, without the Brinkmann family and the others in mind. It was important to the producers of the series at the time to show the Black Forest from its most scenic perspective.

🇩🇪 Logbedingung
Um diesen Virtual Cache zu loggen, müsst ihr ein Foto von Euch mit dem berühmten Gebäude der Schwarzwaldklinik im Hintergrund schießen. Die VC-Koordinaten sind etwas abseits des Gebäudes bei einer Bank mit einem schönen Ausblick und einer Infotafel. Das Betreten des Klinikgeländes ist für den Cache nicht erforderlich und auch nicht erlaubt, da dort heute eine aktive Klinik für psychosomatische Erkrankungen betrieben wird. Bitte respektiert das Privatgelände und die Privatsphäre der Patient*innen.

Jetzt kommt der knifflige Teil: Auf Eurem Logfoto muss neben Eurem Gesicht oder Eurem GC-Nick auch ein Gegenstand zu sehen sein, der in der Serie eine wichtige Rolle spielt. Ein bisschen Recherche vorab (alle Folgen sind kostenlos in der ZDF Mediathek verfügbar; in manchen Fällen reicht schon ein Blick auf den Titel, falls Ihr Euch die Serie nicht antun wollt) kann nicht schaden. Im Logbuch erklärt bitte, wie der gewählte Gegenstand mit der Serie verbunden ist. Mein Beispiel unten zeigt eine Kartoffel in Anlehnung an die Folge "Der Fremde in der Hütte" (Szene ab Minute 13). Es reicht nicht aus, einfach eine Hose zu fotografieren, weil alle Darsteller (meistens) Hosen tragen.

🇬🇧 Log condition
To log this virtual cache, you need to take a photo of yourself with the famous Black Forest Clinic building in the background. The VC coordinates are slightly away from the building right next to a bench with a stunning view and an information panel. It is not necessary or permitted to enter the clinic premises for the cache, as an active clinic for psychosomatic illnesses is run in the building today. Please respect the private property and the privacy of the patients.

Now comes the tricky part: In addition to your face or GC nickname, your log photo must also show an object that plays an important role in the series. A little research beforehand (all episodes are available for free in the ZDF Mediathek; often a brief look at the title is enough if you don't want to watch the series) can't hurt. In your log, please explain how the chosen object is connected to the series. My example below shows a potato based with reference to the episode “The Stranger in the Cabin“(scene from minute 13). It is not enough to simply photograph a pair of trousers because all the actors (usually) wear trousers.
