Lammassaari
Lammassaari sijaitsee lähellä Vanhankaupunginkoskea ja Arabianrantaa, Sinne pääsee Vanhankaupunginkosken sillan läheltä Pornaistenniemeltä pitkospuita pitkin. Esteetön pitkospolku ja elämyksellinen Luonnon syli -luontopolku muodostavat yhdessä noin 3,5 kilometrin mittaisen esteettömän retkireitin.
Lammassaari kuuluu Viikin - Vanhankaupunginlahden luonnonsuojelualueeseen. Ulkoilijoiden odotetaan kunnioittavan luonnonrauhaa rauhoitetulla alueella ja myös sen ulkopuolella. Saari on mainio kohde ulkoiluun, retkeilyyn ja lintujen tarkkailuun. Alueella levähtää keväisin ja syksyisin tuhansia muuttolintuja.
Vierailijoiden tulee huomioida, että Lammassaari on mökkialuetta ja siellä tulee liikkua vain yleisillä poluilla.
Lammassaari is a recreational island close to Vanhankaupunginkoski rapids near Arabianranta. Accessible duckboards (a path made of wooden planks) begin from Pornaistenniemi. Together with the nature trail Lap of Nature, the duckboards form an accessible recreational path of approximately 3,5km.
Lammassaari is part of the Viikki-Vanhankaupunginlahti nature reserve. All visitors should respect the peace of nature both inside the nature protection area as well as in the surrounding green areas. Lammassaari is a perfect place for nature hikes and bird watching. Thousands of migrating birds rest in the area every spring and autumn.
Please notice that there are private cottages in the area and walking in the area should be on marked paths only.

Tehtävänäsi on ottaa kohtien 1 ja 2 mukaiset kuvat ja liittää ne löytölokiisi. Lokit ilman kuvia tullaan poistamaan. Tehtävä 3 on vapaaehtoinen, mutta siihenkin olisi mukava saada vastauksia.
Your task is to take the photos according to points 1 and 2 and upload them to your found it log. Logs without pictures will be deleted. Task 3 is voluntary, but it would be nice to get answers to that as well.

This task is voluntary. The Lammassaari area is one of the best birding areas in the Helsinki region. It would be nice to read what birds you saw on your trip or if there were many bird watchers in the area. In the example photo below there is a marsh tit enjoying itself at the bird feeding place in Lammassaari. |
