This virtual cache is placed to honor The Waysiders and their incredible dedication to Geocaching and the City of Rome, Georgia over the years as the hosts of the legendary Mega-Event known as Going Caching. Since 2010, they poured their hearts into this event and serving the Geocaching community. It is hard for us to say farewell, but we know this is not goodbye, because "we will meet again".
To honor this event and its hosts, please attach a photo of yourself, your group, or a personal item in front of the stage in Ridge Ferry Park, where so many wonderul memories were made. Optionally, you may choose to include your recollections of this event over the years and all the work that Jim and Andi put into leading "The Crew" and making our community a better place.
