The B1B Lancer is nicknamed the "Bone" from B-one. This plane means a lot to me since it played a significant role in my nearby civilian career. Twenty of twenty-seven years of my civil service were spent supporting the B1. Originally outfitted to carry nuclear weapons, it was refitted for conventional weapons following the collapse of the Soviet Union.
