The Vimy Memorial
You are invited to visit the Vimy Memorial, a well known Saskatoon landmark. The Vimy Memorial is also referred to as the Bandshell and was constructed and donated to the city by The Kiwanis Club in 1937. This structure is a tribute to the soldiers who fought at the Battle of Vimy Ridge during the First World War (1914 - 1918).
To Log this Virtual Cache as found, please complete the following and forward the answers to the cache owner
1. Physically visit the Vimy Memorial ( the posted cache coordinates ).
2. Read the Vimy Memorial Plaque located East of the Vimy Memorial ( see the waypoint coordinates ). There are two photos on the plaque, each has a Saskatoon Public Archive number. Record these numbers and the title of the photo's and email them the CO.
3. Take a photo at the Vimy Memorial which includes the Memorial and a personal item of your choice.
Preferred Logging etiquite:
You may log your find at the time of your visit but please do so as a "Write Note" only untill you recieve confirmation from the Cache Owner that your answers are aceptable. At this time you may change your log to a "Found It". This will avoid any possible confusion and/or the requirement to delete logs. Thanks for your consideration.
