Souřadnice Vás dovedou doprostřed žďárského náměstí. Vaším cílem je kamenná ryba poblíž morového sloupu. Ryba představuje delfína, v podobě jak byl znázorňován ve středověku. Jejím autorem je Julius Pelikán, sochař a medailér, který se narodil v nedalekém Novém Veselí.
Julius Pelikán (23. února 1887 - 17. února 1969) absolvoval kamenickou školu v Hořicích a po té vystudoval Akademii u J.Myslbeka a J.Štursy. Jako své působiště si zvolil Olomouc. V jeho tvorbě najdeme velké množství soch, pomníků i pamětních desek po celé republice. V našem městě si kromě delfína můžete u Staré radnice prohlédnout "Děvče z vysočiny" a nebo u městské Knihovny Matěje Josefa Sychry najdete "Dívku s holubicí".

The coordinates will lead you to the center of Žďár Square. Your goal is a stone fish located near the plague column. This fish represents a dolphin, depicted in the medieval style. It was created by Julius Pelikán, a sculptor and medalist born in nearby Nové Veselí.
Julius Pelikán (February 23, 1887 – February 17, 1969) attended the stone masonry school in Hořice and later studied at the Academy under J. Myslbek and J. Štursa. He chose Olomouc as his professional base. His work includes numerous statues, monuments, and memorial plaques throughout the country. In our town, in addition to the dolphin, you can view the "Girl from the Highlands" by the Old Town Hall or the "Girl with a Dove" near the Matěj Josef Sychra Municipal Library.
