Geocache Description:

The Titan Missile Museum is about 20 miles south of Tucson on I 19 in Sahuarita.

ACCESS IS ONLY DURING MUSEUM HOURS!!!  CURRENTLY PARKING LOT IS LOCKED BEFORE 9:45 AND AFTER 5:00 PM DAILY.  TIMES MAY CHANGE CHECK BEFORE YOUR VISIT!

This museum is the only place where it is possible to see the missile and the entire launch facility including the controls to launch the missile. The Titan Missile Museum Education and Research Center has just been rebuilt. The exhibits even include photographs of the disastrous fuel explosion that blew the massive concrete doors hundreds of feet into the desert. There are tours every half hour from 9 AM until 4 PM. Directions: This museum is about 20 miles south of Tucson, Arizona. On I 19 take exit 69 and go west a few blocks on Duval Mine Road, past a stoplight on La Canada and Duval Mine Road.

Your MISSION:

You will see a sign on the right for the Titan Missile Museum. To get credit, you will have to send the following two pieces of information.

1) The coordinates are for a large stone in front of the museum on which is a large bronze plaque.  What is the date on the lower left hand corner of the plaque?

2) On the Dedication plaque beside the front door, who is the CHAIRMAN of the Arizona Aerospace Foundation?

3) Take a picture of you, your proxy, at the Museum, preferably at the coolest thing you saw here.  Extra points if your hand is on "THE BUTTON" .  Enjoy the tour.
