A virtual cache just off the A40 in West London. Climb to the top of Mount Northala and enjoy the 360 panoramic view.

View towards Mount Northala
Northala Fields is a parkland area in Northolt, West London, which opened in 2008. Within the park are 4 hills constructed using rubble from the original Wembley Stadium, which was demolished in 2003. The tallest of the hills is 22 metres high with a beacon at the top, and offers a 360 degree view of the area. On a clear day the London skyline can be seen from here. To the south you can spot the control tower at Heathrow airport. And to the east you can see the arch of the new Wembley stadium.
There is a circular gravel pathway leading round and round all the way up to the top. Robust electric wheelchairs might be able to make it, and/or pushchairs if you have a strong person to push them! In the parkland below there is a cafe, toilets, and childrens playground.
At the time of our visit in the summer, there was a clear view in all directions. At other times, the weather may not be so kind...

The view towards London
Getting there:
There are several local bus routes that pass by, or you can travel by tube to Northolt station. From there it is about a 1KM walk. If driving, there is paid parking available in the car park, or limited free parking in nearby roads.
To claim this Virtual reward:
Climb to the top of the highest mound (the one with the beacon at the top - known to locals as Mount Northala) and take a photo showing yourself (or just part of you, you don't have to show your face if you don't wish to) or your caching name AND the view looking East towards London. POST THIS PHOTO IN YOUR "FOUND" LOG - WITHOUT IT WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DELETE YOUR LOG
It would be great if when logging you could say what the weather was like at the time of your visit, and thus whether you could see the London skyline?
Any other comments/photos of your trip would also be welcome additions, as it would be nice to hear about your experiences when visiting this green area.
