Tehachapi's First & Only Virtual
Where it all began
If you've driven through Tehachapi at all you've seen that street names often include the directional N, S, E or W. Where does it begin? Here. Right here is the city center.
The city has provided a beautiful and functional navigation device for your use. It's definitely low tech, and precedes GPS by literally centuries but, moving at the speed of government, we got one in 2006. It's really large, so you can't move it anywhere, but if you use satellite view on the app, you can actually see it from space. Using the provided navigation device, make your way to the SW corner and look for a plaque.
All the city council got their names on the plaque. One council member's last name is a body part and another is a color. To claim credit for this cache, send their names, eg. if one was Melissa Golden and the other was Fred Hart, you would send "Golden Hart." You're encouraged to post a picture of yourself at this intersection with this navigation device in the picture.
