Welcome to Amsterdam! Whether you come to the city as a tourist, a business traveller, or just a local; chances are high you will arrive at Amsterdam's Central Station, or named in Dutch: Station Amsterdam Centraal. To make geocachers feel even more welcome after leaving their train, tram, bus, metro or ferry, there is this Virtual Cache. An easy one to catch before heading into the city, or just between transferring into another mean of transport here. Lots of options to explore our beautiful city will all start here!
Your task:
To correctly log this Virtual Cache, please go to Amsterdam Central Station. Here, you will find a lot of different means of public transport! Find at least TWO different ones (this could be a train, tram, metro, bus, ferry), and make a picture of these public transport vehicles with preferably a local public transport ticket of your own homecity. This could be a paper ticket, a plastic card, anything! If you don't have any of these, you are also allowed to make the picture with any banknote or coin of your own currency. To make this clear: you will have to upload TWO different pictures. Logs without correct pictures will be deleted!
PLEASE NOTE: I get a lot of messages sending me the second photo. Please DO NOT use message center or email for this. You can either make a COLLAGE of your two pictures, or use the Geocaching WEBSITE (yes there is more than the app only...) to upload your second picture. Thank you for doing so!
Welkom in Amsterdam! Of je nu naar de stad reist als toerist, zakenreiziger, of een lokale inwoner; grote kans dat je de stad in reist via het centrale station: Station Amsterdam Centraal. Om je als geocacher nog net iets meer welkom te heten in de stad, na het verlaten van je trein, tram, bus, metro of veerboot, is er nu deze virtual. Een simpele virtual net voordat je de stad in gaat, of tussen het overstappen met het openbaar vervoer in. Vele opties om het mooie Amsterdam te ontdekken beginnen hier!
Je taak:
Om deze Virtual goed te loggen, ga eerst naar Station Amsterdam Centraal. Hier vind je vele verschillende opties openbaar vervoer. Zoek eerst minstens TWEE verschillende op (dit kan dus zijn een trein, tram, metro, bus of veerboot). Maak vervolgens twee foto's met je OV-Chipkaart (voor de Belgen onder ons, je MOBIB kaart) bij deze vervoersmiddelen. Uiteraard hoeft hierbij geen persoonlijke info zichtbaar te zijn. Heb je echter geen van deze (en ook geen e-ticket of los kaartje), maak dan een foto met onze lokale munteenheid (oftewel; de euro) bij het OV. Deze opdracht is hetzelfde voor toeristen, zo krijgen we een leuk beeld van de verschillende nationaliteiten die hier allemaal komen. Voor de duidelijkheid: je moet dus TWEE foto's uploaden voor een geldige log! Logs zonder correcte foto's zullen worden verwijderd!
LET OP: Ik krijg erg veel berichten waarin de tweede foto wordt verstuurd. Gebruik alsjeblieft NIET het message center of email hiervoor. Je kan ofwel een COLLAGE maken van de twee foto's, ofwel de Geocaching WEBSITE (ja, er is meer dan alleen de app...) gebruiken om je tweede foto te uploaden. Dank je wel!
