Robert Strawbridge
Robert Strawbridge was a Methodist preacher born in Drumsna, County Leitrim, Ireland in 1732. He arrived in America in 1760 and purchased this house and farm from John England, Sr. in 1773. Here he formed the The First Class of American Methodism with John Evans, his wife Eleanor, his nephew Job, Job's wife Mary, Nancy Murphy, and Mrs. Hoy.
