Quintessential English Village

Welcome to the beautiful village of Hambleden. A village so "quintessentially English" that it has been used in innumerable movies and television shows which leads me onto the theme of this Virtual Award 4.0 geocache.

To log this cache as found, please complete the first two required tasks below. Completion of the second two tasks is optional but also fun and highly encouraged. There is no requirement for any faces to appear in photo logs.

1. Required. Send me a message with what is written on the side of the village pump.
2. Required. Post your log with a photo showing you in the vicinity of the posted coords. Be careful not to show the answer to task 1.
3. Optional. Research a television show or movie which has been filmed in or around the immediate vicinity of Hambleden village. Choose a scene and identify where it was filmed.
4. Optional. Visit your chosen location and take a photo that recreates your chosen scene from task 3. Please try to include details in your log of your chosen film/television show and coords of where the photo was taken. If your photo is taken in the immediate vicinity of the posted coords then this photo can also be used for required task 2.

Please get creative!
All photos showing evidence of being in the vicinity of the posted coords will qualify but please try to get in the spirit of things. The difficulty rating was originally set to 4.5 to try to fill a UK virtuals gap but the need to make tasks 3 and 4 optional no longer meant this was accurate. It's now a very accessible to all 1/1 but, if you can, please feel free to still treat it as a D4.5. Dressing up (I believe that's now known as "cosplay"), photo manipulation, use of Lego, etc. etc. all encouraged). Or, just take a photo of a cast iron pump. It's up to you!

To get everyone started and lead by example here's our effort at creating a scene from the TV show Good Omens where Hambleden doubled for the quintessential English village of Tadfield. Note: This includes some light AI-based photo manipulation.
