🇨🇿 Novoměstský klášter kapucínů byl záložen v roce 1630. Hlavním dárcem byl Gerhard z Questenberka. Základní kámen kostela byl položen 13. května 1636. Kostel je zasvěcen sv. Josefu. Roku 1757 byl klášter i kostel při pruském obléhání vážně poškozen. Dodnes se v klenbě kostela nacházejí zasazené dvě dělostřelecké koule. Roku 1795 byl klášter zrušen, přestavbou zde vznikla jezdecká kasárna. Na místě kasárny vznikl v letech 2005 – 2007 obchodní komplex Palladium. Klášterní budova byla roku 1860 nahrazena novostavbou. Částečně zachovanou fasádu můžeme najít v rámci nákupního centra Palladium.
🇬🇧 The New Town Capuchin Monastery was founded in 1630. The main donor was Gerhard from Questenberk. The foundation stone of the church was laid on May 13, 1636. The church is dedicated to St. Joseph. In 1757, the monastery and the church were seriously damaged during the Prussian siege. To this day, two artillery balls are still embedded in the vault of the church. In 1795, the monastery was abolished, and a cavalry barracks was created here. The Palladium shopping complex was built on the site of the barracks between 2005 and 2007. The monastery building was replaced by a new building in 1860. The partially preserved facade can be found within the Palladium shopping center.

Kirche ist dem heiligen Josef geweiht. Im Jahr 1757 wurden das Kloster und die Kirche
während der preußischen Belagerung schwer beschädigt. Im Gewölbe der Kirche sind noch
zwei Kanonenkugeln eingelassen. Im Jahr 1795 wurde das Kloster aufgelöst und als
Kavalleriekaserne wiederaufgebaut. In den Jahren 2005-2007 wurde an der Stelle der
Kaserne der Einkaufskomplex Palladium errichtet. Das Klostergebäude wurde 1860 durch ein
neues Gebäude ersetzt. Die teilweise erhaltene Fassade befindet sich im Palladium-
Einkaufszentrum.
