Savusauna on puulämmitteinen perinteinen saunatyyppi, jossa ei ole lainkaan savupiippua, vaan pakokaasut leviävät suoraan löylyhuoneeseen. Saunakylässä avautuu mahdollisuus tutustua maailman laajimpaan suomalaisten savusaunojen kokoelmaan. Voit kokea Moskuvaaran saunan ainutlaatuisuuden, Virpiön savusaunan tunnelman ja ihailla vaikkapa Klaus Kerttulan vuonna 1909 rakentaman savusaunan tiloja. Sauna on olennainen osa suomalaista elämää, tarjoten lämpöä, mielenrauhaa ja hyvinvointia jo vuosisatojen ajan.

A smoke sauna is a wood-heated traditional type of sauna with no chimney at all, but the exhaust gases spread directly into the steam room. In Saunakylä, you have the opportunity to get to know the world's largest collection of Finnish smoke saunas. You can experience the uniqueness of the Moskuvaara sauna, the atmosphere of the Virpiö smoke sauna and admire, for example, the premises of the smoke sauna built by Klaus Kerttula in 1909. Sauna is an essential part of Finnish life, offering warmth, peace of mind and well-being for centuries.
Tasks: In order to log the cache as found, you should attach two photos to your log
1) take a picture in the given coordinates where your finger is pointing towards the bird on the name pole of Saunakylä OR your nametag can be seen at the photo in front of the name pole
2) another picture of one of the smoke saunas in the area and state the name of that sauna in your login (this is a voluntary task).
