Bratislavský downtown, označovaný aj ako „nové centrum Bratislavy“ je názov používaný pre novú vznikajúcu mestskú štvrť v Bratislave, ktorá je z veľkej časti tvorená obytnými a kancelárskymi výškovými budovami a historickými pamiatkami industriálnej minulosti.
Zďaleka nešlo o centrum Bratislavy, ale predmestie. Na miestach, kde dnes stoja výškové dominanty a budujú sa ďalšie developerské projekty, bolo priemyselné srdce Bratislavy. Pri dunajskom nábreží sa netýčila dnes najvyššia veža v krajine, nachádzala sa tu Marschallova továreň na koče. Povedľa, v blízkosti železničnej trate a Zimného prístavu, neplánovali developeri ďalšie veže, postavená tu bola rafinéria minerálnych olejov Apollo a cez cestu aj textilná továreň na spracovanie juty, nazývaná „Klingerka“. V dotyku s historickým centrom a dnešným downtownom na Továrenskej ulici nestáli budovy od legendárnej Zahy Hadid, umiestnená tu bola továreň Kablo o rozlohe až 15-tisíc štvorcových metrov.
Ako píše Viera Obuchová v knihe Priemyselná Bratislava, boli tu umiestnené fabriky a robotnícke štvrte, ktoré pripomínali industriálny rozmach mesta na prelome 19. a 20. storočia. Bratislava bola v tomto období vyspelým mestom, električka tu premávala ako jedna z prvých v Európe, dokonca skôr ako v Budapešti alebo vo Viedni.
Napriek výstavbe nových výškových budov a zbúraniu mnohých priemyselných budov zostali zachované dôležité historické pamiatky ako Sklad č. 7, posledné zachované budovy rafinérie Apollo (Jurkovičova tepláreň a budova Design factory) či Cvernovka.

Bratislava downtown, also referred to as the "new center of Bratislava" is the name used for a new emerging urban district in Bratislava, which is largely made up of residential and office high-rise buildings and historical monuments of the industrial past.
It was far from the center of Bratislava, a suburb. The industrial heart of Bratislava was in the places where high-rise buildings stand today and other development projects are being built. Where today stands the highest tower in the country, once the Marschall's carriage factory was located. Along the way, near the railway line and the Winter Harbor, where the developers are now planning more towers, once was built the Apollo mineral oil refinery, and across the road a textile factory for jute processing, called "Klingerka". In contact with the historical center and today's downtown on Továrenská street, where now the buildings by the legendary Zaha Hadid stand, once was located the Kablo factory with an area of up to 15,000 square meters.
As Viera Obuchová writes in the book Industrial Bratislava, factories and working-class districts were located here, which resembled the industrial boom of the city at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Bratislava was a developed city during this period, the tram operated here as one of the first ones in Europe, even earlier than in Budapest or Vienna.
Despite the construction of new high-rise buildings and the demolition of many industrial buildings, important historical monuments such as Warehouse No. 7, the last preserved buildings of the Apollo refinery (Jurkovič's heating plant and the Design factory building) or Cvernovka were preserved.
