👻Kanonen 💣- Virtual Reward 4.0 Virtual Cache

Då blev jag lyckligtvis utvald till att lägga ut en virtuell cache.

Denna utsiktplats i folkmun kallad kanonberget har man många minnen från. Allt från barndomen när man åkte pulka ner för backen till i ungdomens år när förfesten var nära stan, men det är en annan historia 

Även om många Varbergare känner till platsen så besöks den nog inte särskilt flitigt.

Det tänkte jag ändra på nu, med en virtuell, så även turister får upp ögonen för denna plats.

Kanonen kan vara den enda kvarlevande från Varbergs Fästning, troligen gjuten på Stavsjö bruk år 1772.

Eldröret väger 1,5 ton och kunde skjuta en rundkula på 12 punds vikt (5,5kg) 1km.

Luckily, I was chosen to post a virtual cache.

This viewpoint popularly known as the "cannon mountain" has many memories. Everything from childhood when you went sledding down the hill, to your youth when the pre-party was close to town, but that's another story 

Although many Varberg residents know the place, it is probably not visited very frequently.

I'm going to change that now, with a virtual cache, so even tourists get their eyes on this place.

The cannon may be the only surviving one from Varberg Fortress, probably cast at Stavsjö Bruk in 1772.

The barrel weighs 1.5 tons and could fire a round bullet of 12 pounds (5.5kg) 1km.
