Welcome to Campbellford, home of the Canadian Toonie

We created this virtual on April 8th, 2024, the day of the Total Solar Eclipse.
Brent Townsend lives here in Campbellford. Brent is the Canadian wildlife artist who created the polar bear sketch for the Canadian two dollar coin.
There is free parking and washrooms at the Service Ontario building, just south of the Giant Toonie and Park. This cache is wheelchair accessible. You can also come by boat via the Trent River. The township workers and citizens will not be at all surprised to see you taking a photo of the toonie. The posted coordinates are where we stood to get our optical illusion photo.
To claim a "found it" please complete the following:
1. Post a photo with your "found it" log of you "appearing" to hold the toonie like our example in the description. You do not need to include your face in the photo, but take the optical illusion photo of you holding the toonie in one form or another to show that you were there. See our examples in the photos gallery.
2. Message us, via our profile page, with the date (year) found somewhere on the back of the giant toonie (walk around it and look up).
