Tööülesanne: pane logisse pilt sellest, kuidas sinu kasutajanimega viiking istub koordinaatidel olevas paadis.
The task: create a picture where a Viking with your user name sits in the boat at GZ and add that picture to your log
EST:
Igatahes loevad arheoloogid nüüd viikingiaja alguseks just seda sündmust, ja mitte enam 793. aastal toimunud Lindisfarne'i röövretke Inglismaal.
Kui asi rohkem huvitama hakkas, siis a) loe läbi siinsamas paadi kõrval olev infotahvel; b) mine muuseumi ja vaata näitust c) vaata Jupiterist pooldokumentaali https://jupiter.err.ee/1608437405/salme-viikingid
ENG:
THere aren't too many sites where a specific discovery has been made. In 2008, road construction work was carried out here, and during that process, remnants of boats were encountered. A couple of years and some excavations later, it can be said that around the year 750, two boatloads, or 41 warriors, presumably from central Sweden, were buried here. What exactly they were doing here is not precisely known. They were warriors, and they were likely on a military expedition. In any case, archaeologists now consider this event as the beginning of the Viking Age, rather than the raid on Lindisfarne in England in 793.
If you find the matter more interesting, then a) read the information board right next to the boat here; b) visit the museum and see the exhibition; c) watch a semi-documentary about Salme Vikings on Jupiter: https://jupiter.err.ee/1608437405/salme-viikingid
