The Berkeley Memorial is a monument in Basseterre on the island of Saint Kitts in the Caribbean island state of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The monument stands in the middle of the Circus, which is a replica of Piccadilly Circus in London.
It consists of a four-sided wrought iron drinking fountain with a clock.
The clock has four dials, corresponding to the fountain, each facing the street that leads to the square.
The monument was built in honor of Thomas Berkeley Hardtman Berkeley, a former President of the General Legislative Council in the 1880s.
In order to log this virtual cache, you should first complete the following tasks:
1. Number of palm trees around the round square. This is X.
2. At the entrance to the fountain from the south side, there is a metal plate with two capital letters on the ground below, in front of the first step. These are YY.
3. On the north side you will find a plaque (Born / Died) with four numbers. Add all the individual DIGITS together and you get ZZ.
4. Now send an email to GCAJH0Z.XYYZZ@gmail.com. with your GC_Nickname in the subject according to the following example: GCAJH0Z.2CK53.
If your answers are correct, you will immediately receive an automatic response with log permission.
If your email comes back as undeliverable, unfortunately there was something wrong with your answers.
5. Finally, please take a current photo of yourself in front of the Berkeley Memorial, as in the picture in the listing, whereby your face does not have to be recognizable or with a piece of paper with your GC nickname + date and upload it at the same time as your log entry.
ATTENTION !!! Please make sure that the numbers for answer 3 are not spoiled in your photo so that the following cacher friends can also enjoy this virtual cache !!!
Unfortunately, logs without photo evidence that you were there must be deleted without comment.

Das Berkeley Memorial ist ein Denkmal in Basseterre auf der Insel Sankt Kitts im karibischen Inselstaat “Sankt Kitts und Nevis“.
Das Denkmal steht in der Mitte des Circus, welcher eine Nachbildung des Piccadilly Circus in London ist.
Es besteht aus einem vierseitigen schmiedeeisernen Trinkbrunnen mit Uhr.
Die Uhr hat, entsprechend dem Brunnen vier Zifferblätter, welche jeweils zur Straße blicken, die zum Platz hinführt.
Das Denkmal wurde zu Ehren von Thomas Berkeley Hardtman Berkeley einem früheren Präsidenten des General Legislative Council in den 1880ern erbaut.
Um diesen Virtual - Cache zu loggen, solltest Du bitte vorher folgende Aufgaben erfüllen:
1. Anzahl der Palmen um den runden Platz. Dieses ist X.
2. Beim Aufgang zum Brunnen von der Südseite befindet sich unten, vor der ersten Stufe, auf dem Boden eine Metallplatte mit zwei Großbuchstaben. Diese sind YY.
3. Auf der Nordseite findest Du eine Plakette (Born / Died) mit vier Zahlen. Addiere alle einzelnen ZIFFERN und Du erhältst ZZ.
4. Sende nun eine Email an GCAJH0Z.XYYZZ@gmail.com. mit Deinem GC_Nickname im Betreff nach folgendem Beispiel: GCAJH0Z.2CK53.
Wenn Deine Antworten richtig sind, erhältst Du umgehend eine automatische Rückmeldung mit der Logerlaubnis.
Sollte deine Email als unzustellbar zurückkommen, war leider bei Deinen Antworten etwas falsch.
5. Als Abschluß bitte vor dem Berkeley Memorial, wie auf dem Bild im Listing, noch ein aktuelles Foto von Dir, wobei Dein Gesicht nicht erkennbar sein muß oder mit einem Zettel mit Deinem GC-Nickname + Datum und lade es gleichzeitig mit Deinem Logeintrag hoch.
ACHTUNG !!! Bitte achte bei Deinem Foto darauf, dass die Zahlen für Antwort 3 nicht gespoilert werden, um den nachfolgenden Cacherfreunden ebenfalls den Spass an diesem Virtual - Cache zu bewahren !!!
Logs ohne Beweisfoto, dass du vor Ort warst, müssen leider kommentarlos gelöscht werden.
