El Penyal d'Ifac, situado en Calp, en la comarca de la Marina Alta, fue declarado Parque Natural el 19 de enero de 1987. Esta formidable roca, unida a tierra solo por un estrecho istmo, se eleva sobre el mar hasta los 332 m de altura.
Tratándose de uno de los paisajes más conocidos de la Comunidad Valenciana, con únicamente 53,3 hectáreas de superficie, constituye al mismo tiempo uno de sus espacios naturales protegidos de menor extensión y uno de los más visitados.
Por otro lado, la riqueza de su patrimonio histórico con valiosos yacimientos arqueológicos; junto a la singularidad de su flora que incluye importantes endemismos, lo convierten en un parque natural de primer orden. (WEB)
EL VIRTUAL
Para poder registrar este virtual debes subir hasta el vértice geodésico que se encuentra en la cima del Penyal d'Ifac, siguiendo un camino muy transitado aunque de cierto riesgo: la ruta roja. El acceso a esta ruta está restringido y es necesario realizar una reseva previa de forma gratuita en la web https://parquesnaturales.gva.es/es/web/pn-penyal-d-ifac
Una vez en el vértice geodésico debes realizar una fotografia en la que aparezca obligatoriamente tu nombre de geocacher escrito en un papel, en tu mano o donde quieras (no vale edición de imágenes). Nos reservamos el derecho de eliminar cualquier registro que no cumpla este requisito. A continuación dejamos una imágen de ejemplo:

In order to log this virtual, you must climb to the geodesic vertex located at the top of Penyal d'Ifac, following a well-traveled but somewhat risky path: the red route.
