Lödde kar
Detta är en forntida hamnanläggning i Löddeköpinge socken i Kävlinge Kommun i västra Skåne.
Det är en sten- och timmerkonstruktion på 160 gånger 10 meter utanför Lödde ås mynning, varav omkring 30 meter är synlig ovan vattenytan idag.
Genom att analysera bevarat trävirke med C14-metoden har arkeologerna kunnat datera anläggningen till cirka år 1000 efter Kristus, det vill säga senare delen av vikingatiden.
Den är nämnd i historiska källor från 1200-talet.
Karet har förmodligen fungerat som omlastningsplats för tungt lastade och djupgående skepp som inte kunde gå upp i Lödde å.
Hamnanläggningen ska förmodligen ses i samband med den framväxande kungamakten och etablerandet av ringborgen i Borgeby.

Under tiden den 15 april – 15 juli är det förbjudet att beträda vass- och fuktstråken.

Lödde kar
This is an ancient harbor facility in western Scania (Skåne).
It is a stone and timber construction of 160 by 10 meters outside the mouth of Lödde å, of which about 30 meters is visible above the water surface today.
By analyzing preserved wood with the C14 method, the archaeologists have been able to date the facility to around 1000 AD, i.e. the later part of the Viking Age.
It is mentioned in historical sources from the 13th century.
The trough probably served as a transshipment point for heavily loaded and deep-draft ships that could not go up the Lödde å.
The harbor facility should probably be seen in connection with the emerging royal power and the establishment of the ring castle in Borgeby.

Yoy dont have to touch the stones in any way as the often are covered with bird dropping and also may be instable.
You can also start from Vikhög harbor.
During april 15th – juli 15th it is forbidden to enter the reed and marshy ground
Please stay on the wooden span.
