La Talaia d’Albercutx encaja perfectamente en el paisaje rocoso del Cap Formentor. Hace 300 años, un guardia se paró allí y encendió el fuego de advertencia cuando uno de los barcos árabes-turcos se dirigía hacia la costa de la isla en curso de ataque. The Talaia d’Albercutx blends seamlessly into the rocky landscape of Cap Formentor. 300 years ago, a watchman stood up there and lit a warning fire when one of the Moorish-Turkish ships headed for the island’s coast on a raiding course. The naval battle of Lepanto put an end to Ottoman piracy: the Talaia d’Albercutx, indestructible, layered from island rubble.

Der Talaia d’Albercutx fügt sich wie gewachsen in die Felslandschaft des Cap Formentor ein. Vor 300 Jahren stand dort oben ein Wachmann und entfachte das Warnfeuer, wenn eines der maurisch-türkischen Schiffe auf Überfallkurs die Inselküste ansteuerte. Die Seeschlacht von Lepanto setzte dem osmanischen Piratentum ein Ende: Der Talaia d’Albercutx, unzerstörbar aus Inselbruchsteinen geschichtet.
