Vattentornet i Söderbärke är en ikonisk byggnad, byggd 1961. Den syns på långt håll, till exempel om man kommer med bil norr- eller söderifrån.
På vintern brukar vattentornets lodräta skåror ljussättas. Grundtanken är att lyfta fram det arkitektoniska genom att lysa upp dem med valfri kulör från toppen. Ursprungsförslaget har sedan reviderats till att belysa varannan skåra. Ljuset minskar sakta i styrka nedåt på tornet.

The water tower in Söderbärke is an iconic
building, built in 1961. It is visible from afar, for example if you come by car from the north or south.
In winter, the water tower's vertical slots are usually illuminated. The basic idea is to highlight the architecture by illuminating them with any color from the top. The original proposal has since been revised to highlight every second notch. The light slowly decreases in strength down the tower.
