Välkommen till Sergels torg mitt i Stockholm City!

I den superelipsformade Sergelfontänen står Kristallvertikalaccent, eller som konstverket egentliga namn lyder: "Kristall, vertikal accent i glas och stål", En 37,5 meter hög, 130 ton tung stålkonstruktion med 60 000 glasprismor skapad av glaskonstnären Edvin Öhrström. En klar mittpunkt mitt i city!

Det var länge populärt för nybakade studenter att ta sig ett bad i Sergelfontänen men det kostade Stockholms stad 75 000 -100 000 SEK att reparera skador i fontänen varje år så från och med 2011 töms därför fontänen lagom till de första studentflaken rullar in i Stockholms centrum.

För att logga denna cache behöver du INTE bada i fontänen, bara göra följande:

• Gå till cachens publicerade koordinater.
• Ta ett foto på dig eller något som symboliserar dig, där man även ser Kristallvertikalaccent. Var gärna kreativ!
• Bifoga bilden i din logg. -> Mejla eller skicka INTE bilderna till CO. <- Om jag är tveksam så blir du kontaktad. Annars är allt ok.

Welcome to Sergels torg in the heart of Stockholm City!

In the superellipse-shaped Sergel Fountain stands the Kristallvertikalaccent, or as the artwork's actual name goes: "Crystal, Vertical Accent in Glass and Steel." A 37.5-meter high, 130-ton heavy steel construction with 60,000 glass prisms created by the glass artist Edvin Öhrström. A clear focal point in the middle of the city!

It used to be popular for newly graduated students to take a dip in the Sergel Fountain, but it cost the city of Stockholm 75,000 - 100,000 SEK to repair damages to the fountain every year. Therefore, starting from 2011, the fountain is emptied just in time for the first student parades rolling into the center of Stockholm.

To log this cache, you do NOT need to swim in the fountain, just do the following:

• Go to the cache's published coordinates.
• Take a photo of yourself or something symbolizing you, where the Kristallvertikalaccent is also visible. Feel free to be creative!
• Attach the picture in the online log. -> Do NOT e-mail or send the picture to CO. <-
• If the Cache Owner (CO) is uncertain, you will be contacted. Otherwise, everything is okay.
