Welcome to the National Museum of the United States Army!
The National Museum of the United States Army is an enduring effort to tell the Army’s story. The Museum honors the sacrifices, accomplishments, and commitments of American Soldiers. The Museum is the first comprehensive museum to capture, display, and interpret over 246 years of Army history. The Museum brings to life history in both times of war and peace as told through the eyes of Soldiers. The Museum also offers educational experiences illustrating the Army’s role in building and defending our nation. The Museum is a joint effort between the U.S. Army and the nonprofit Army Historical Foundation.
Open daily from 0900 - 1700 (except for December 25th)
Admission to the museum is FREE and open to the public. Although not required, general-admission tickets are encouraged to ensure the most enjoyable visitor experience.

In addition to the exhibits, the museum offers many other fun-filled activities. There's a café, a theater, and a store/gift shop. A rotating exhibit finds its home on the second floor, and the Medal of Honor Experience (and garden) can be found on the third floor. Kids of all ages will love the Experiential Learning Center and the Army Action Center. I hope you enjoy your visit. There's no requirement to visit any of the exhibits or participate in any of the activities previously mentioned in the description, but you will need to go inside the museum (see logging requirements).
LOGGING REQUIREMENTS:
Post a photo of yourself (or a personal item) taken at the Department of the Army emblem with the black campaign wall in the background (see photo example). The emblem and campaign wall can be found in the main foyer of the museum. There is no requirement to show your face in the photo. Logs that don't fulfill this requirement may be deleted.
