In April 1940, Milford City decided to purchase a tower water tank from a community in Laurel, Montana...
Well, you can read the rest of the story of this tower from the plaque for yourself when you arrive at the cache coordinates. I'll just say that the tower has been a benchmark (Milford Water Tank - JO0553) for the Milford area since 1957 and for us since we first visited the town some 40 years ago. So, without further ado...
To receive credit for this cache, each cacher who logs the cache will need to do one of the following-
Take a photo of yourself with one of the water towers. If you prefer, the photo can instead be of a personal item, such as a your hat, foot or shadow, a trackable or something similar, with one of the towers in the background. Whatever you feel comfortable with. Photos that are of the tower only do not satisfy this requirement.
OR
Answer the following three questions-
- How many gallons does the taller water tower hold?
- In 2020 the Milford water tower was the star of a commercial that aired during what sporting event?
- How many ladders are on the two towers?
Please send answers via email or message.
Include photos on your log. Answers need to be received by the day following your log.
