Hallo zusammen
Ein Bitte gleich am Anfang.
Komplette Anfänger sollten sich wohl überlegen diesen Steig zu gehen, da er doch einige Stellen aufweist, in welchen einiges an Erfahrung, Kraft , Trittsicherheit, Schwindelfreiheit und einer guten Kondition abverlangt wird.
Erste Erfahrungen im Klettersteig gehen sollten daher vorhanden sein.
Daher gibt es für diesen Virtual die Möglichkeit ihn in einer von zwei Optionen zu bewältigen.
Option #1 “Die Kletterer“
Ihr klettert den kompletten Steig ab . Rechnet genug Zeit ein.
Es kann gern mal 4 std dauern bis ihr durch seid wenn viel Betrieb auf der Strecke ist.
Es geht aber auch manchmal in 1:50 😊

Macht ein Bild von euch beim Anziehen der Ausrüstung oder zeigt Ausrüstungsteile mit Blick auf die Brücke
N 50° 5.608' E 6° 49.002' Hängeseilbrücke 60m lang hoch über der Lieser
Macht hier ein Bild von euch oder eurem Cachernamen mitten auf der Brücke über der Lieser . Have fun:-)
N 50° 5.625' E 6° 48.981' Gipfelkreuz
Hier bitte ein Bild nach erfolgreichen Ende eures Abenteuers. gern auch ein verschwitztes Hemd 😉
Optional Bilder im D Teil direkt an der Lieser entlang.
Beschreibt euren Tag mit einem schönen Log und bitte nicht in einem Satz
Macht an den beschriebenen Wegpunkten die geforderten Bilder, von euch oder Cachenamen auf irgendwas drauf, oder Teilen eurer Ausrüstung.
Festes Schuhwerk, Helm, Handschuhe, Rastschlinge und ein komplettes Klettersteigset müssen zwingend vorhanden sein, können aber ggfs. bei der Tourist- Information bestellt und ausgeliehen werden. Dies solltet ihr dann aber selbstständig im Vorfeld erledigen.
Die Feuerwehr Manderscheid hat wirklich viel zu tun auf diesem Steig.
Jeder Teilnehmer ist für seine Sicherheit selbst verantwortlich unterwegs und es wird keinerlei Haftung übernommen.
Option #2“ Die Wanderer“
Ihr werdet entlang von einigen Wegpunkten auf einen schönen aber echt fordernden Wanderweg geführt, der einige Höhenmeter innehat.
Diese Wertung soll ja auch verdient werden😊
An den verschieden Stages macht ihr Bilder entweder von euch oder einem Schild, Pappe/ bemalte Hände oder was auch immer mit eurem Cachernamen , damit ich sehe, dass der Weg tatsächlich gegangen wurde.

Dient nur als Waypoint, geht dort drüber.
N 50° 5.818' E 6° 49.102' Belvedere
Macht hier ein Bild von euch oder eurem Cachernamen mit Belvedere im Hintergrund
N 50° 5.651' E 6° 49.049' Oberburg
Macht hier ein Bild von euch oder eurem Cachernamen und zwar ganz oben mit Blick auf die Niederburg !!
N 50° 5.527' E 6° 49.147' Übungsklettersteig
Macht hier ein Bild von euch ober eurem Cachernamen. Könnt ja mal üben wenn ihr wollt.
Es sind also insgesamt 4 Bilder an verschiedenen Stellen nötig um zu loggen. Ich behalte mir vor, im Rahmen der Fairness anderen gegenüber, Logs , welche diese Bedingungen nicht erfüllen zu löschen!

Hello everyone
I have to start this off with a request:
Complete beginners should take their time to carefully consider their capabilities before walking this route, as it has some places where a lot of experience, strength, surefootedness, a head for heights and a good fitness level are required.
Therefore, you should have some initial experience with climbing via ferrata's.
You can choose one of two options to complete this virtual:
Option #1 "The Climbers"
You climb the entire path. So, make sure you allow enough time. It can take up to 4 hours to get through if there is much traffic on the route.
However, sometimes it is possible to finish it in 1:50 hrs 😊
Please remember to bring provisions and drinks!
About your tasks:
N 50° 5.932' E 6° 48.765' Entry to the via ferrata
Take a picture of yourself putting on equipment or show your equipment with a view of the bridge.
N 50° 5.608' E 6° 49.002' Suspension cable bridge 60m long high above the Lieser
Take a picture of yourself or your cacher name in the middle of the bridge over the Lieser. Have fun :-)
N 50° 5.625' E 6° 48.981' Summit cross
Please take a picture at this spot to capture your successful adventure. It's ok if your shirt is sweaty 😉
Another option would be taking pictures in part D directly along the Lieser.
Describe your day with a nice log, and please write more than one sentence.
Take the required pictures of yourself or your cache names written on something or parts of your equipment at the described waypoints.
Sturdy shoes, a helmet, gloves, a safety sling and a complete via ferrata set are mandatory – however, if necessary, they can be ordered and borrowed from the tourist information. Make sure you do this well in advance yourself.
The Manderscheid Fire Department has a lot to do on this route.
Each participant is responsible for their own safety, and no liability is assumed.
Option #2 "The Hiker"
When choosing this option, you will follow multiple waypoints on a beautiful but genuinely challenging hiking trail that is a few meters in altitude.
This rating should also be earned😊
At the different stages, you take pictures of yourself or a sign, cardboard/painted hands or whatever with your cacher name so that I can see that you actually hiked the trail.
Here are the waypoints and tasks:

Take a picture of yourself or your cacher name at this location with the tiny temple in the background.
N 50° 5.704' E 6° 49.026' Waschbach Bridge
It merely serves as a waypoint; just cross it.
N 50° 5.818' E 6° 49.102' Belvedere
Take a picture of yourself or your cacher name here with Belvedere in the background.
N 50° 5.651' E 6° 49.049' Oberburg/upper caslte
Go to the top of the upper castle and take a picture of yourself or your cacher name capturing a view of the Niederburg!!!
N 50° 5.527' E 6° 49.147' Practice via ferrata
Take a picture of yourself or your cacher name in front of the practice trail. You can practice if you want.
So, a total of 4 images in different places are needed to log. To be fair to others, I reserve the right to delete logs that do not meet these conditions!
