This bronze K9 Memorial is the first permanent memorial of it's kind in Georgia. This sculpture named HERO is located at Dekalb County Police Headquarters in Tucker, GA. The monument celebrates the brave service of K9 dogs of all varieties. All around the monument are bricks commemorating individual dogs, their handlers and dates of service. The particular dog that is sculpted is a Belgian Malinois.
