The square can be very busy, so any place at the square will do!
If you actually visit this place on May the 4th you have the best chance to see the King and the Queen between 7.30 and 8.30 PM in the square. Make sure you behave and be quiet, because this is a very serious moment in national history!
Travelling by car and carparking is nearly impossible in Amsterdam city centre, please come by train or consider to use the P+R facilities.
