The Groveton Confederate Cemetery is a historical site located within the Manassas National Battlefield Park in Virginia. It was established in 1867 and this cemetery serves as the final resting place for approximately 500 soldiers who were killed in the First and Second Battles of Manassas during the Civil War. There are just two actual headstones within the cemetery. The rest of the soldiers are buried in a mass grave under the Groveton Confederate Cemetery monument itself, which is clearly visible from a distance as you approach.
The cemetery's hours are from sunrise to sunset.

To claim this virtual cache as "Found", you must:
- Physically visit the site and include with your log a photo of yourself or a personal item (your GPSr, or a piece of paper with your geocacher’s username on it) at the monument or at the entrance gate, and
- There are some wooden signs (more than 3) within the fenced area. Each sign has only the name of a state on it and is held up by one or two wooden posts. You will have to walk near the monument inside the gated area to find all of them. Message me the answer to the following questions:
- How many signs are there, and
- What are the names of the states on each sign?
