Az ELTE Múzeum körúti campusának egyik emblematikus épülete a Gólyavár. Építésekor itt volt az ország legnagyobb, 540 fő befogadóképességű előadóterme. Falai közt a számtalan hallgató mellett a tudományokra kíváncsi hétköznapi emberek is előfordultak, többek között az itt felvett Gólyavári Esték című előadássorozatnak köszönhetően, amelyben jeles tudósok és művészek osztották meg gondolataikat a hallgatósággal.

Az oktatásban főleg a nagy létszámú első évfolyamokban volt szükség a terem befogadóképességére, innen ered az épület neve is. A földszinti kisebb helyiségekben kapott helyet egy időben a TTK Hallgatói Önkormányzat és a Hallgatói Iroda is, ahol mindig nagy élet volt. A kari újság kereszterejtvényével pedig a földszinten üzemelő Tarka Birka büfé szendvicsjegyeit lehetett hetente megnyerni.
Az épületet - mint oly sok másikat sem - nem kímélte az idő vasfoga, az ezredfordulóra elkerülhetetlenné vált a felújítás. Ennek során lényeges átalakuláson ment át úgy a külseje, mint belseje. Kívülről a homlokzat markáns változása, a felső ablaksor és és az emeleti mellékhelyiségeknek helyt adó széles toronyrész eltűnése tűnik szembe. Ennél is nagyobb a belső átalakulás, a hajdan két szintes előadótermet két kisebbre bontották.
A logolás feltétele egy fotó magadról (vagy egy hozzád köthető tárgyról, esetleg a nicknevedről) a háttérben a Gólyavár bejáratával.
Nyitvatartás: jellemzően munkanapokon 7-20 óra között, de rendezvények esetében akár hétvégén is.

Gólyavár (Stork Castle) is one of the emblematic buildings of the ELTE Museum's körút campus. When it was built, it was the largest lecture hall with a capacity of 540 people in the country. In addition to the countless students, there were also ordinary people curious about the sciences within its walls, thanks to the lecture series Gólyavári Esték recorded here, in which famous scientists and artists shared their thoughts with the audience.
In education, the capacity of the room was needed, especially in the first years with a large number of students, hence the name of the building. At one time, the TTK Student Self-Government and the Student Office were located in the smaller rooms on the ground floor, where there was always a lot of life. With the crossword puzzle of the faculty newspaper, you could win weekly sandwich tickets for the Tarka Birka buffet on the ground floor.
The building - like so many others - was not spared by the ravages of time, and at the turn of the millennium, renovation became inevitable. In the process, both its exterior and interior underwent a significant transformation. From the outside, the marked change of the facade, the disappearance of the upper row of windows and the wide part of the tower that accommodates the restrooms on the first floor is noticeable. The internal transformation is even greater, the former two-story lecture hall was divided into two smaller ones.
The condition for logging in is a photo of yourself (or an object related to you, or perhaps your nickname) with the entrance to Golyavár in the background.
Opening hours: typically on workdays between 7:00 and 20:00, and even on weekends-in case of events.
