On the Pisky Promenade leading to the Tihany Abbey Church stands Mihály Kolodko's miniature sculpture, a tiny bronze statue of Arthur Gombóc.
Mihály Kolodko, a sculptor from Transcarpathia, was born in Uzhhorod and is of Hungarian descent on his mother's side. Initially, he created public sculptures as he studied plein air art. Most of his sculptures can be found in Uzhhorod, but after relocating to Hungary in 2017, his works began to appear there as well.
The artist, well-known for his mini sculptures, has created tiny works depicting characters such as Mekk Master, the Checkered-Eared Rabbit, the famous lure from the animated series "The Big Fishing Ho-Ho-Ho," Rejtő Jenő’s 14-Carat Car, and even Ernő Rubik's genius invention, the Rubik's Cube. His goal with these creations is to humorously and playfully commemorate cartoon characters, celebrities, or artists, always with a twist.
In Tihany, one of Kolodko's creations—a bronze statue of Gombóc Artúr, the chocolate-loving hero from the animated series Pom Pom’s Tales—has been placed in honor of István Csukás Hungarian writer, poet, who passed away in February 2020.
Arthur Gombóc, whose character was drawn by Ferenc Sajdik in the story, likely needs no introduction. The well-known cartoon character lives and breathes chocolate, regardless of its form, filling, or flavor—what matters most is that it’s chocolate.

A tihanyi apátsági templomhoz vezető Pisky sétányon található Kolodko Mihály miniszobra, Gombóc Artúr miniatűr, bronzba öntött mása.
Kolodko Mihály kárpátaljai szobrászművész Ungváron született, anyai ágon magyar származású. Eleinte köztéri szobrokat készített, mivel tanulmányait a plan air művészet terén gyakorolta. Legtöbb szobra Ungváron található, de miután 2017-ben áttelepült Magyarországra, itt is megjelentek alkotásai. Ezek nagy része Budapesten található, de több vidéki városban is felbukkantak alkotásai.
A miniszobrairól jól ismert művész készített már pici alkotást többek között Mekk Mesterről, a Kockásfülű Nyúlról, a nagy ho-ho-horgász híres csalijáról, Rejtő Jenő 14 karátos autójától, de Rubik Ernő Rubik Ernő zseniális találmányát, a bűvös kockát is megformálta. Alkotásaival az a célja, hogy viccesen, játékosan, mindig valamilyen csavarral állítson emléket mesehősöknek, hírességeknek vagy művészeknek.
Tihanyban Kolodko alkotása, a 2020 februárjában elhunyt Csukás István csokifaló hőse, a Pom Pom meséi című rajzfilmsorozatban gyakran felbukkanó Gombóc Artúr bronzba öntött mása kapott helyet.
Gombóc Artúrt, akinek figuráját a mesében Sajdik Ferenc rajzolta meg, úgy gondoljuk senkinek sem kell bemutatni. Az ismert rajzfilmhős él-hal a csokoládéért, legyen annak bármilyen formája, tölteléke, vagy ízesítése, a lényeg csak az, hogy csokoládé legyen.
