Logging Requirement
At GZ is a large granite tor that is split into two pieces.
Post a photo of your geocaching name(s) written clearly (say on a sheet of paper/hand/sand) or yourself (optional) with the granite tor in the background. Be creative!
Karlu Karlu or the Devils Marbles is a living cultural landscape and traditional country for the Warumungu, Kaytetye, Alyawarra and Warpiri people.
Karlu Karlu is recognised to be of great cultural importance and became jointly managed between Parks and Wildlife and the Traditional Owners in 2009. Almost the entire Reserve is a sacred site and many stories and traditions are associated with the area.
The Karlu Karlu Walk is a 400 metres or 20 minute loop and is graded as easy. Starting from the day use area, a short walk around the rock formations provides some of the best examples of Karlu Karlu's fascinating geology. If you only have time for one walk, this is the one to do.
We have travelled the Stuart Highway a number of times and enjoy stopping in here. We hope you do as well.
