Höhlentempel / cave temple
Der Dambulla-Höhlentempel (singhalesisch: දඹුල්ල ලෙන් විහාරය), auch als
Goldener Tempel von Dambulla bekannt, befindet sich in der Zentralregion von Sri Lanka.
Er gehört zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe
und ist einer der am besten erhaltenen Orte von Höhlenkunst weltweit.
Dieser Höhlentempelkomplex ist der größte seiner Art in Sri Lanka. Es gibt mehr als 80 Höhlen in der Region. Dieser Höhlenkomplex befindet sich 160 Meter über dem Boden in der Mitte eines riesigen Felsblocks. Der Felsbrocken dominiert die gesamte Landschaft. Der Tempel besteht hauptsächlich aus fünf separaten Höhlenstrukturen. Alle Höhlen konzentrieren sich darauf, die Lebensgeschichten zu erzählen, die mit dem Leben Buddhas und der Ethik des Buddhismus zusammenhängen.

Um diesen Cache loggen zu dürfen, füge dem Log ein Bild hinzu in dem du eindeutig nachweist, dass du vor Ort warst (siehe Beispiele -> example 1 oder example 2).
Beachte die Ethik… keine Fotos von euch, auf denen ihr mit dem Rücken zu Buddha steht!

The Dambulla Cave Temple (Sinhala: දඹුල්ල ලෙන් විහාරය), also known as the
Golden Temple of Dambulla, is located in the central region of Sri Lanka.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved cave art sites in the world.
This cave temple complex is the largest of its kind in Sri Lanka. There are more than 80 caves in this region. This cave complex is located 160 metres above the ground in the centre of a huge boulder. The boulder dominates the entire landscape. The temple mainly consists of five separate cave structures. All the caves focus on telling the life stories related to the life of Buddha and the ethics of Buddhism.
Log requirement:
To be allowed to log this cache, add a picture to the log in which you clearly prove that you were there (see examples -> example 1 or example 2).
Pay attention to ethics... don't take photos with your back facing Buddha!
Hint:
Logs without a photo that does not clearly show that you were there will be deleted without comment! AND a minimum of one picture per log.
