Il Monumento nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II, meglio conosciuto con il nome di Vittoriano o Altare della Patria, in latino Ara Patriæ, è un monumento nazionale situato a Roma, in piazza Venezia, sul versante settentrionale del colle del Campidoglio, ed è opera dell'architetto Giuseppe Sacconi. Il nome "Vittoriano" deriva da Vittorio Emanuele II di Savoia, primo Re d'Italia. Ha un grande valore rappresentativo essendo architettonicamente e artisticamente incentrato sul risorgimento; il complesso processo di unità nazionale e liberazione dalla dominazione straniera si conclusero sotto il regno di Vittorio Emanuele II di Savoia, cui il monumento è dedicato.
Sono stato a Roma nel marzo 2024 con la mia migliore amica Laura e mi sono innamorato perdutamente della città ; ho quindi deciso di scegliere questa splendida location per la mia prima Virtual 👻

The National Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, better known by the name of Vittoriano or Altare della Patria, in Latin Ara Patriæ, is a national monument located in Rome, in Piazza Venezia, on the northern slope of the Campidoglio hill, and is the work of architect Giuseppe Sacconi. The name "Vittoriano" derives from Vittorio Emanuele II of Savoy, first King of Italy. It has great representative value being architecturally and artistically centered on the Risorgimento; the complex process of national unity and liberation from foreign domination ended under the reign of Vittorio Emanuele II of Savoy, to whom the monument is dedicated.
I was in Rome in March 2024 with my best friend Laura and I fell madly in love with the city; I therefore decided to choose this splendid location for my first Virtual 👻
