Figura Jezusa w Świebodzinie, a tak właściwie Pomnik Jezusa Chrystusa Króla Wszechświata, to obiekt przyciągający turystów nietylko z Polski, ale i z Europy.
Odsłonięta 21 listopada 2010 roku figura przedstawia białą sylwetkę Chrystusa z rozpostartymi ramionami. Postać Jezusa zwrócona jest w kierunku zachodnim, "patrząc" na miasto. Konstrukcja składa się z żelbetonowego korpusu osadzonego na kopcu, a szczyt ozdobiono aluminiową (pozłacaną) koroną. W nocy obiekt staje się bardzo wyeksponowany dzięki zainstalowanemu podświetleniu i może zrobić wrażenie na niejednym. I raczej powinien, bo koszt budowy szacuje się na ok. 6 milionów złotych, który został pokryty z dobrowolnych datków wiernych i lokalnych przedsiębiorców.
Porównanie wysokości pomników między krajami
Pomnik w Świebodzinie jest obecnie (2024) najwyższą tego typu konstrukcją na świecie o szacunkowej masie całkwoitej 440 ton, osiągającej łącznie z kopcem wysokość blisko 53 metrów! Sama figura jest wyższa od tej z Rio de Janerio o 3 metry, a wliczając koronę o 6 metrów. Sama rozpiętość ramion to 24 metry. Choć rekord wysokości jest imponujący, to niedługo lider może ulec zmianie. W Armenii, na górze Hatis, powstaje bowiem pomnik Jezusa, który docelowo ma mierzyć aż 80 metrów. Mimo to, istnieje spora szansa że nie wpłynie to znacząco na popularność świebodzińskiego monumentu.
Dla jednych symbol wiary i oddania, dla innych niepotrzebny monumentalizm i megalomania. Kontrowersje narastające wokół obiektu, nie są jednak w stanie odebrać pomnikowi statusu turystycznej ikony. A wy co o nim sądzicie?

Zadania
Aby móc zalogować znalezienie na tej skrzynce wirtualnej musisz wykonać dwa proste zadania 
- Zadanie 1. Zrób zdjęcie na tle pomnika. Współrzędne virtuala zaprowadzą Cię pod pomnik. Twoim zadaniem jest zrobienie zdjęcia siebie (nie musisz pokazywać twarzy) lub swojego przedmiotu osobistego (np. xWG, TB, kartka z nickiem) na tle pomnika, w taki sposób by jednoznacznie potwierdzało Twoją obecność na miejscu. Zdjęcie załącz do logu.

- Zadanie 2. Odnajdź hasło. Przespaceruj się wokół pomnika, a dojdziesz pod wskazany punkt dodatkowy (waypoint). Odnajdziesz przy nim tablicę z numerowanymi wierszami. Interesuje Cię linijka zawierająca cyfrę zapisaną inaczej niż pozostałe. Ostatnie słowo tej linijki to Twoje hasło. Gdy już je odnalazłaś/eś, użyj jednej z poniższych opcji by zweryfikować i potwierdzić wykonanie zadania:
- Opcja a) Zweryfikuj walidatorem Certitude. Wejdź w CHECKER (klik), i zaloguj się do niego przy pomocy konta z geocaching.com. Następnie wpisz odnalezione hasło. Zadanie jest wykonane prawidłowo gdy Twój nick pojawi się na liście graczy rozwiązujących - warunek konieczny dla tej opcji.
- Opcja b) Zweryfikuj przy pomocy e-mail. Wyślij e-mail na adres sernikkgc@gmail.com. Treść lub tytuł musi zawierać trzy elementy GCKOD, Hasło oraz Twój Nick. Przykład: GCAJJ14 HASŁO twójnick. Jeśli Twoja odpowiedź była poprawna, otrzymasz wiadomość zwrotną.
- Uprzejmie proszę o to by nie wysyłać odpowiedzi w wiadomości prywatnej! Wykonanie jednej z wyżej wymienionych opcji w sposób prawidłowy jest wystarczające do zaliczenia zadania 2. W przypadku problemów, skontaktuj się ze mną.

Description
The statue of Jesus in Świebodzin, actually The Monument to Jesus Christ King of the Universe, is an object that attracts tourists not only from Poland, but also from Europe.
Unveiled on November 21, 2010, the statue shows a white silhouette of Jesus Christ with outstretched arms. The figure of Jesus is turned towards the west, “looking” at the city. The structure consists of a reinforced concrete body set on a mound, and is decorated with an aluminum (gold-plated) crown at the top. At night, the structure becomes very exposed thanks to the installed backlighting and can impress many. It rather should, since the cost of construction is estimated at about 6 million PLN, which was covered by voluntary donations from the faithful and local entrepreneurs.
The monument in Swiebodzin is currently (2024) the tallest structure of this kind in the world with an estimated total weight of 440 tons, reaching a height of nearly 53 meters including the mound! The statue itself is higher than the one in Rio de Janerio by 3 meters, and including the crown by 6 meters. The arm span alone is 24 meters. Although the height record is impressive, the leader may soon change. In Armenia, a statue of Jesus is being built on Mount Hatis, which is expected to eventually measure 80 meters. Despite this, there is a good chance that it will not significantly affect the popularity of the monument here, in Świebodzin.
For some it will be a symbol of faith and devotion, for others unnecessary monumentalism and megalomania. Despite controversies growing around the statue, they are not able to take away the monument's status as a tourist icon. And what do you think about it?
Tasks
In order to log a find on this virtual cache, you need to complete two simple tasks
- Task 1. Take a photo with the statue in the background. The main coordinates will take you near the statue. Your task is to take a photo of yourself (you don't need to show your face) or a personal item of yours (e.g. xWG, TB, paper with your name) with the statue in the background, in a way for it to unambiguously confirm you have been on the spot. Attach the photo to your log.

- Task 2. Find the key. Walk around the monument, and you will come to the indicated waypoint for this task. You will find a board next to you. Look at it, you will see numbered rows. Find a row (line) that contains a digit, that is written differently from the others on that board. The last word in this line is your key. Once you have found it, use one of the options below to verify and confirm the task:
- Option a) Verify with Certitude. Go into the CHECKER (click), and log in with your account from geocaching.com. Type in the found key. The task is completed correctly when your nickname appears on the list of solving players - necessary condition for this option. If entered anonymously, there is no way for me to know you have completed the task.
- Option b) Verify with e-mail. Send an e-mail to sernikkgc@gmail.com. The content or title needs to contain GCCode, Password and Your Username. Example: GCAJJ14 PASSWORD yourname. If your answer is correct, you will get a reply message.
- I kindly ask not to send the answer through the message center! Choosing one of the above options is sufficient to complete task 2. If you face any difficulties, feel free to reach out to me.
