Descritpion:
Wadi Rum or Wadi Ramm is a desert valley with canyons, natural arches, cliffs and caves, located south of the Arabah in Jordan. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2011 as a mixed natural and cultural property.
Geography:
Geologically, Wadi Rum is a valley (a wadi or wadi) dug by the erosion of an endoreic stream in the sandstone and granite rocks of southwestern Jordan.
History:
The presence of drawings, engraved inscriptions and archaeological remains testifies to 120 centuries of human occupation. More than 25,000 petroglyphs and 20,000 inscriptions trace the beginnings of alphabetical writing and the evolution of human thought, its pastoral, agricultural and urban activities in the region. Laurence’s Arab army spent there in the summer of 1917 before launching its attack on Aqaba.
To validate the cache you will need to meet these two conditions:
- take a picture of you or your nickname on two of the five virtual steps listed.
- take a picture of your nickname written in the sand ( be imaginative!)
If you do not meet both conditions the log will be deleted.

جغرافية:
جيولوجياً، وادي رم هو وادٍ (وادي أو وادي) حفره تآكل مجرى داخلي في الحجر الرملي والصخور الجرانيتية في جنوب غرب الأردن.
تاريخ:
ويشهد وجود الرسومات والنقوش المنقوشة والبقايا الأثرية على 120 قرناً من الاحتلال البشري. أكثر من 25 ألف نقش صخري و20 ألف نقش تتتبع بدايات الكتابة الأبجدية وتطور الفكر الإنساني وأنشطته الرعوية والزراعية والعمرانية في المنطقة. وقضى جيش لورانس العربي هناك صيف عام 1917 قبل أن يشن هجومه على العقبة.
