Ventspils lidosta (ICAO – EVVA; IATA – VNT) ir valsts nozīmes civilās aviācijas lidlauks, kas specializējas vispārējas aviācijas lidojumu apkalpošanā.
Ventspils lidlauks tika izveidots jau pirms Otrā pasaules kara, savukārt lidosta tika uzcelta 1975. gadā, tobrīd tajā tiekot nodarbinātiem 45 cilvēkiem. Lidlaukā ir 1298m garš un 32m plats asfaltbetona seguma skrejceļš.
1975. gadā lidsabiedrība “Aeroflot” sāka īstenot reisus 3 dažādos maršrutos:
- Ventspils – Ļeņingrada;
- Ventspils – Minska;
- Ventspils – Rīga.
Maršruti tika pārtraukti 1983. gadā, kad valdības politisku apsvērumu dēļ tika pārtraukta arī pašas lidostas darbība. 1997. gadā tika uzsākts darbs pie lidostas atjaunošanas.
2008. gada lidsabiedrība “airBaltic” veica pētījumu par potenciālo pasažieru plūsmu un lidojumu virzieniem no Ventspils lidostas, kā rezultātā no 2008. gada 11. aprīļa līdz 30. septembrim tā piedāvāja regulārus reisus maršrutā Ventspils – Rīga. Šajā laika posmā “airBaltic” veica 476 lidojumus un pārvadāja 6607 pasažierus. Kopš 2008. gada komerclidojumi Ventspils lidostā vairs netiek veikti, taču tiek apkalpoti privātie lidojumi un mācību lidojumi, kā arī speciālie aviācijas darbi (piemēram, aviācijas meklēšanas un glābšanas darbi).
2011. gadā Ventspils lidlauks ieguva valsts nozīmes lidlauka statusu.

Ventspils Airport (ICAO – EVVA; IATA – VNT) is a civil aviation airport, which specializes in general aviation services.
Ventspils aerodrome was created before the Second World War, while Ventspils Airport was founded in 1975. At that time, 45 employees worked at the airport. The aerodrome has a 1298m long and 32m wide asphalt-concrete runway.
In 1975, the airline “Aeroflot” started offering flights on 3 different routes:
- Ventspils – Leningrad;
- Ventspils – Minsk;
- Ventspils – Riga.
The routes were discontinued in 1983 when the airport itself was shut down due to political decisions made by the government. In 1997, work on the renewal of the airport began.
In 2008, the airline “airBaltic” conducted a research on the potential passenger traffic and flight directions from Ventspils Airport. Because of that, between April 11, 2008 and September 30, 2008, the airline offered regular flights on route Ventspils – Riga. During this period, “airBaltic” completed 476 flights and carried 6607 passengers. Since 2008, commercial flights are no longer operated at Ventspils Airport, however, private flights and training flights are still served, as well as special aviation operations (for example, aviation search and rescue operations).
In 2011, Ventspils aerodrome was established as an aerodrome of national significance.
