Hey there! Check it out - The Eagle is this funky sculpture by Alexander Calder that looks like a bird in the sky. It hung out in Fort Worth for about two decades, then decided to spread its wings and landed first outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and now it's chilling in the Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park.
Calder, the guy behind it, was all about bold shapes and making things look like they're in motion - that's his trademark style.
Logging Requirements:
1. Now, for the fun part - if you swing by and see The Eagle, take a pic of you with it. Get creative, maybe pretend you're a bird in flight or something. If don't want to show your face, just take a shot of your Geocaching username scribbled on something, throw in the date, and make sure The Eagle is in the background. Pop that pic into your log.
2. And hey, if you know any other cool big steel sculptures painted in red from your neck of the woods, spill the beans! Drop the name, location, and the artist's name. Optional, but it could be a cool bonus.
