Favorite Place!
[EN] We came to this island to celebrate my 40th birthday. We explored Tenerife quite a lot during our stay...from going to many hikes, swimming in natural pools to tasting delicious local food and drinks.
Definitely my favorite hike and spot in Tenerife was Tamaimo->El Agujero. This hike offers unforgettable experience with spectacular views. Be prepared, that to navigate some times will be challenging, but at GZ you will be awarded with an impressive natural arch nestled >630m in the cliffs of Los Gigantes.
[ES] Vinimos a esta isla para celebrar mi 40 cumpleaños. Exploramos Tenerife bastante durante nuestra estancia...desde ir a muchas caminatas, nadar en piscinas naturales hasta degustar deliciosa comida y bebida local.
Definitivamente mi caminata y lugar favorito en Tenerife fue Tamaimo->El Agujero. Esta caminata ofrece una experiencia inolvidable con vistas espectaculares. Esté preparado, que para navegar algunas veces será un reto, pero en GZ usted será recompensado con un impresionante arco natural enclavado >630m en los acantilados de Los Gigantes.
[EN] There are two ways to reach GZ:
1. from Tamaimo go straight to the "cruz de los Misioneros" (there is geocache here: GC6695J). But this part is very steep and much better to use it for coming back.
2. from Tamaimo to do some loop, go to geocache GC5MXKW, this route is not steep and had a great views from other side of the mountain. Just make sure, that this part of the trail is open (it could be closed due to habitat protection). We took this one and that was a great choise.
[ES] Hay dos formas de llegar a GZ:
1. desde Tamaimo ir directamente a la «cruz de los Misioneros» (hay geocaché aquí: GC6695J). Pero esta parte es muy empinada y mucho mejor usarla para volver.
2. desde Tamaimo para hacer un poco de bucle, ir al geocache GC5MXKW, esta ruta no es empinada y tiene una gran vista desde el otro lado de la montaña. Solo asegurate, que esta parte del sendero este abierta (podria estar cerrada debido a la proteccion del habitat). Tomamos esta y fue una gran elección.

1) *attache a picture at GZ with your thumb down (if you didn't like El Agujero, or this trail was a waist of time).
*attache a picture with your thumb up (if you enjoyed the view from El Agujero and the trail was exciting).
2) in your log you need to mention from which country you came here (optional task;)
[ES] Para reclamar este virtual como hallazgo debe seguir dos pasos:
1) *adjunta una foto en GZ con el pulgar hacia abajo (si no te gustó El Agujero, o este sendero fue una pérdida de tiempo).
*Adjunta una foto con el pulgar hacia arriba (si disfrutaste de la vista desde El Agujero y el sendero fue emocionante).
2) en su registro debe mencionar de qué país procede (tarea opcional;)
