Sherwood Forest is one of the most famous forests in the world and of course home to the legend of Robin Hood. For centuries, stories of Robin and his Merry Men defending the rights of the poor whilst hiding out amongst the forest's famous oaks has endured. It is also home to almost 1000 ancient oak trees making it the biggest and best place to find these trees in Europe. Many of which are over 500 years old including the world famous Major Oak which is estimated to be around 1000 years old.
Logging requirements
1. The given coordinates are outside of the new visitor centre where you will see a statue of Robin Hood and Little John.
On the information board, titled Robin Hood and Little John what is the year of the ballad?
2. As you make your way to the Major Oak at waypoint 2, you will be walking amongst the many beautiful ancient oak trees of some wonderful shapes and sizes. Please upload a photograph of either yourself or something with your caching name on with any of the ancient oak trees in the background.

3. At the stage 2 waypoint, the Major Oak, you should be next to a post for the Giants Trail as seen on the photo below. On one side it says The Giants Trail. On the opposite side is a small wooden disc with a picture on it. What is the picture of?
