Sea Turtle Viewpoint - Ho'okipa Beach Park
This beach is a great place to view Sea Turtles resting, heading up the beach to rest, and heading back out to the ocean. Sometimes seals and dolphins can be seen here too. If you are not into the sea life, you can have a picnic nearby and watch the surfers.
In order to log this virtual:
- Please take a post a picture of yourself or some personal identifying object along with the turtles on the beach. I have never been here when there are no turtles, but if there are none, a picture inclucing the beach is fine.
- This should only be done from the viewpoint above - PLEASE DO NOT GO BELOW and TOUCH THE TURTLES.
You should always stay at least 10ft (3m) away from the turtles, so that you don't stress them out.
- Count the number of turtles you see on the beach and include in your log. Any other information, is up to you.
- If the pic and number of turtles is not included in your found log, the log may be deleted.
There is 1 turtle coming onto the beach and 42 already on the beach in this picture...
