L’Île de la Cité réserve bien des surprises ! Sur la place Louis-Lépine et débordant le long du quai de la Corse, depuis 1873, entre la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris et la Sainte-Chapelle, le marché aux fleurs accueillent les amoureux de botanique et les curieux depuis 1830. À la fois couvert et découvert, le marché est notamment constitué de pavillons d’époque 1900. La sélection est large : fleurs de saison, fleurs exotiques, orchidées, plantes, arbustes… Un lieu de promenade insolite et attachant. Deux fontaines Wallace (inscrites à l’inventaire des Monuments historiques en 1970) sont installées.
Rebaptisé « Elizabeth II » en 2014, une rénovation complète est prévu fin 2025.

The Île de la Cité has many surprises in store! On the Place Louis-Lépine and overflowing along the Quai de la Corse, since 1873, between the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral and the Sainte-Chapelle, the flower market has welcomed botany lovers and the curious since 1830. At the both covered and uncovered, the market is notably made up of pavilions from the 1900 period. The selection is wide: seasonal flowers, exotic flowers, orchids, plants, shrubs... A place of unusual and endearing walk. Two Wallace fountains (listed in the inventory of Historic Monuments in 1970) are installed.
Renamed “Elizabeth II” in 2014, a complete renovation is planned for the end of 2025.
