Geocache Description:

Welcome to Cincinnati!

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) might have “Cincinnati” in its name, but it’s actually located in Hebron, Kentucky—just across the Ohio River from the city it serves. This fact often surprises travelers, but it makes sense historically. When the airport was established in 1942, Cincinnati needed more space for air travel, and nearby Boone County, Kentucky, offered the land to make it happen. Today, CVG is a major hub for cargo operations, home to Amazon Air’s global shipping hub and DHL’s North American operations, making it one of the busiest freight airports in the world.

CVG is also a key player in passenger travel, offering nonstop flights to dozens of destinations across the U.S. and beyond. It has earned a reputation for efficiency, consistently ranking among the best midsize airports in the country. The terminal itself is modern and easy to navigate, with a mix of local restaurants and national chains for travelers looking to grab a bite. So while it may technically be in Kentucky, for Cincinnatians—and the millions of travelers passing through each year—CVG will always be “Cincinnati’s” airport.

There are two places where you can log this virtual, while visiting only one is required. The first one is the mural outside the secure zone, close to ticketing (see waypoint), the second one is in the middle of Concourse B inside the secure zone (posted coordinates). To log this cache, you'll need to take a picture at either of these locations.
